Drawing upon its extensive Jazz Age repertoire, the Ballyhoo Foxtrot Orchestra is able to offer a variety of programming.

The majority of the Ballyhoo Foxtrot Orchestra's performances are concert presentations for listening audiences. Our programs feature a variety of Jazz Age genres ranging from Dixieland to tangos to novelty. There is sure to be something to please everyone.

The BFO is happy to offer its unique sounds as background music for parties and receptions. The band can tailor its music and appearance to be as formal or informal as the occasion demands. By altering the mix of musical genres, the BFO is able evoke a variety of distinctive early 20th-century themes - all of which make for memorable events:

New Orleans / Mardi Gras - emphasis upon Dixieland & Hot Jazz (Lucy Long , Wabash Blues , Way Down Yonder in New Orleans )
Great Gatsby / Jazz Age - emphasis upon foxtrots & novelty songs (Mississippi Mud , Georgette , Shake Your Shimmy )
The Gilded Age - emphasis upon waltzes, tangos, & light classical (Au bord de l'eau , Julian en el Cabaret , Solvejg's Song, from Peer Gynt Suite)
4th of July / Americana - emphasis upon marches, school songs, & patriotic music (Stars and Stripes Forever , Frat , You're a Grand Old Flag )

If ballroom dancing is your thing, the BFO can provide an evening of dance sets consisting of Foxtrots, Swing, Waltz, Latin, and Polka.
